We saw Iggy & The Stooges last night at the House of Blues in Atlantic City. They played all of Raw Power along with some obscure Iggy songs. Check Mike Watt on bass in the background with the broken leg. They shredded for an hour and a half. Don't ever miss a Stooges show!!!

I shot this photo at the Film Forum last night...saw the new Jean-Michel Basquiat film The Radiant Child
Directed by Tamra Davis. The film is centered on a rare interview Tamra Davis shot with Basquiat over 20 years ago.
Amazing footage of the 80's New York art scene and I recommend you go see it.

Last weekend we saw Batusis play in New Jersey at The Brighton Bar. Batusis is a new ensemble with punk rock legends
Cheetah Chrome (Dead Boys, Rocket From The Tombs), Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls), Sean Ray Koos (Joan Jett & The Blackhearts)
and Lez Warner (The Cult). It was a really fun sick show with songs from their new EP, along with some
Dead Boys, New York Dolls, Johnny Thunders, & Velvet Underground songs in the setlist.

Cheetah Chrome A Dead Boys Tale, the one and only autobiography by Cheetah Chrome with a foreword by
Legs McNeil (Punk Magazine co-founder and author of  Please Kill Me) due out this September, 2010.




Cheetah signed me and Elisa's Dead Boys albums and old Punk Rock magazines from the 70's. We were telling Cheetah about this particular piece
hanging in our shop at 71 Orchard Street. An original concert bill for the Johnny Blitz Benefit at CBGB's back in '78. Quite a gem.
